A “house concert” is exactly that: a concert in a house, typically a private home. It is less about how many people attend, and more about the special connections that can be made in such an intimate space. Sometimes these concerts are invitation only, and sometimes are open to people who would choose to come (space permitting). In any case, they are informal, and open to creative spontaneity. Making this happen is easier than you might think. If not in my local area, we could look to find, or create, a time when I would be passing through yours.
